CraftyNoLo Spring Makers Market

Although the Beast from the East might have delayed our Spring Market by two weeks, come rain, shine, snow, sleet, harsh winds, cold and the mini Beast, we pushed ahead.

On Saturday 17th March, the stunning art deco hotel, Green Rooms, opened its doors to the Crafty North Londoner Spring Makers Market and welcomed 30 London based designers and makers, many of which are Haringey based residents.

We had makers selling items from home decorations and furnishings, to kids wear and glass jewellery, to surface designers and fabulous prints, and ethically sourced accessories and hand carved kitchen utensils. The quality was of the highest standard and no one left disappointed.
Take a look at  some photos of the day below.

Crafty North Londoner would like to thank all the amazing makers and our dedicated local community who came out to show support for local makers, despite the fact it snowed continuously all day. Every single one of you are truly amazing!

Next market will take place on June 30th, T on the Green/The Pavilion, Bruce Castle Park, N17 8NJ. Please register your expression of interest here.

Etsy Made Local Tottenham 2017

Something pretty awesome happened… the very first Etsy Made Local Tottenham happened courtesy of the Crafty North Londoner!!

Vendors were out in full force to provide an easier gifting season and they certainly exceeded all expectations.

Customers were treated to handmade items ranging from soy hand poured wax candles, home decor of the quirky variety and fused glass jewellery to lamps from reclaimed discarded items, up-cycled accessories and ceramics. The Tottenham Winter Festival out on The Green kept everyone fed and watered and rounded off with the light switch on by Ledley King.

Etsy Made Local Tottenham  would not have been possible without the local community support coming out in their droves and showing their appreciation for small business through purchasing many items from independent businesses. A HUGE thank you to the kind and generous who travelled near and far and made the market a success.

Etsy Made Local is a community-led initiative run by Etsy seller volunteers around the country and supported by EtsyUK.

The Crafty North Londoner has more markets and other community projects planned for 2018 so please do visit this page, or follow @craftynolo on both Instagram and Twitter for up to-date information.
