Yemi has worked with young people across multiple youth offending service projects. She set up and ran various mini enterprise courses where young people could learn new skills and make hand crafted products. After a while Yemi felt it would be great if she could develop her own creativity and passion for fashion, textiles and contemporary art. She decided to go back to university and went on to obtain an Honours Degree in fashion, surface pattern and textiles. Yemi works with ethically produced or nature based materials as a foundation, but specialises in using fabrics and materials diverted from landfill to make fashion accessories.
